It looks like the G-Shock Mudman GW-9500 may be taking the place of the Rangeman GW-9400 when it comes to collaborations with the environmental group Earthwatch. The latest Earthwatch edition for the Love The Sea And The Earth limited series for 2023 is the GW9500KJ3JR, which is inspired by the endangered Fiji banded iguana.

The watch has vibrant green and light blue colors to reflect the appearance of the banded iguana. The front light button has a brown ion plating to represent the iguana’s eyes. The Earthwatch logo appears in green when the LED backlight is activated, and the case back has a Love The Sea And The Earth 2023 engraving. The watch comes in a limited and environmentally friendly box.

The GW-9500 series was launched in 2023 and features mud resistance, a duplex LCD display, Tough Solar, Multi-Band 6, and the Triple Sensor with pressure sensor (altimeter and barometer), compass, and thermometer. This is the first GW-9500 model to be released following the three debut models.
